TO COLLAPSE
‘Constructivism to Collapse’ is an exhibition concept developed from my research into Soviet film posters. It explores the USSR’s distinctive political and design history, from the 1920s “golden age” of Constructivism, through the dominance of Socialist Realism under Stalin, to the fragmented creative industries following its collapse.
The visual identity reflects this shift through a design system that gradually breaks down, using elements like angled typography to symbolise the move from Constructivist control to post-Soviet fragmentation.
